There is no way that "everyone" knows. We're moving from 1.5% awareness to 3%, then perhaps, end of 2018 well be at 10%. The growth rates for these percentages are exponential not linear. Thus the continued parabolic nature of BTC. If you break the price down, we're still in the lower part of the "J-curve" of the S curve up to where we have general adoption.

@cryptorift, although many people in the 'developed world' where all the investments are do know about this. I think even the older generation with all their money 'know about it', but are probably not investing yet.
