Pure technical analysis of the bigger picture (Weekly Bars)
This is my first shared idea so hopefully others find it useful. I'm posting it as Neutral because quite honestly I'm somewhat shocked at the result (which would indicate a Short on the longer term) and just want to get it out there for some feedback.
I've been hearing some big numbers thrown about for what a Bitcoin could be worth by the end of 2018 and thought I'd apply some of the tools I've learned over the last 6 months (yes I'm a noob) to the bigger picture and see what it might offer.
I'd been a fann of the Gann recently so here it is applied to
BTCUSD
with weekly bars.
The other indicator present is using EMA 12 and 26 which I've taken to using lately as they are what GDAX uses.
If we ignore the fundamentals (Bitcoin hitting mainstream media with daily coverage) this does offer a more sobering view of what the coming months may offer. It has certainly given me something to think about and I'd appreciate any/all feedback.

So in hindsight this is likely horribly wrong as I haven't even used the Gann Fan correctly. I've used it like fancy trend lines.
