The chart indicator (MA 10 and 30) was used for my daily trade, I am a day trader, and it helps me to gain 2000% from 11 December 2017. It does not correlate or have anything to do with the chart.
The best action is to withdraw your BTC into FIAT. I am not sure when the market will recover, I am looking at March 2018, probably faster. The panic has spread, the market in euphoria after the XRP, XLM, and NEM sudden breakout, which gave me lots of profit. The market is looking for another P&D altcoins, even Dogecoin went up (With an excuse of a rebranding. What a lame excuse to do a P&D scheme). The market is desperate for signal.
As for XRP, I am not sure, but if you're in a good position, like in XRP a cent/XRP, don't short it. The market recovered rather fast, but it does not mean it's not bearish, it's very bearish and could go as low as 1.61 USD/XRP
January 2018 was supposed to be a bearish, but somehow it went up like it's defying logic and try to tell the world, we're not affected by tradition (Christmas) or profit taking month-ish.
One condition though can change this market into bullish, a major economic event, which is going to be happen soon enough. Q3 2018 rings a bell.

I quit the market in Jan 9 for sure, but re enter the market at 12,5k level, 8k level and soon 5k level. I took quite an impact from this.
