the lower channel should be a little lower to align with the previous lows. although it is subjective. with your analysis if it retests 1.045 and breaks down, it goes south. For my analysis, the price sits on the 786 support which is objective, if price break X, it will go south, otherwise north. the two approach are not contradictory, just a matter of probabilty, a 50 50, or 40 60, RR depends on the stop loss you set
